Starting School in September 2027 - School Tours and Information Sessions
We are very proud of Shirley Infant School and welcome you to come and visit us. Choosing a setting for your child can be a daunting and worrying time.
Virtual Pre-School Library
We are working with all the schools across the west side of Southampton to support transition from your early years settings into Year R. As a cluster of early years providers we have worked together and agreed on set rhymes and stories we will all sing and read to support your child's transition to a new setting. Have a go at singing along with your little ones and Mrs Clark. We will also be sign these at our induction activities.

Starting school in 2026
School Council
See what our children think of their school through their eyes by reading their 2024 to 2025 School Self-Evaluation. This is led each year by the school council reps collecting their class's views and feeding them back to create their own SEF. From this the council then write their action plan for the year.
Library
At Shirley Infant School, the teachers recently visited Waterstone's to buy lots of new books for our library from funds kindly raised and donated by FOSIS.
